Additives

OnAdd Process oil

OnAdd PP Oil is a plasticizer for Road Marking paints. It supports resin addition and aids in dispersion of pigments and fillers during mixing operation. Improves the flow and imparts flexibility to solid paint. Its light colour and good colour stability at high temperature enables its use in white and light coloured products. It has good natural antioxidant properties for high temperature application like Hot Melt Road Marking Paints.

OnWax Polyethylene Wax

OnWax is a polyethylene wax, having unique combination of high melting point, hardness and low melt viscosity. These characteristics enable modification of viscosity and softening point, reduces glass beads settling & provides resistance to abrasion. Thus OnWax 600200 proves to be a perfect high performance additive for Hot Melt Road Marking paints.

OnAdd ED-22

OnAdd ED-22 is a new generation, easily dispersible rheological additive system based on Aromatic Solvents of low to medium polarity and Hydro Carbon based Road Marking compound. It imparts optimal Rheologicalproperties to Hot Melt Road Marking Paints. It provides ideal melt flow properties during application, inhibits sedimentation and improves the adhesion and elasticity of the paint. Rheological Additives are specifically used in Hot Melt Road Marking Paints to avoid settling of Glass beads & fillers.

EVA

EVA copolymers stand out for its excellent processability and flexibility, as well as being highly compatible with other polymers, additives, and fillers. The basic variables that determine the type and characteristics of an EVA copolymer, and consequently the characteristics of a Ho™elt are:

1. The polymers molecular weight (MW).
2. The vinyl acetate content (VA)
3. The variation of VA not only affects its compatibility with other raw materials, but also influences almost all the other characteristics such as softening point, bonding strength, specific adhesion, cost, flexibility, tenacity at low temperature, etc.
